Which one? All plants use the same type of sun for we only have one sun. :)

I meant it as full sun, partaial sun, shade. What does is grow best in. Sorry trying to lessen my google seaching by asking directly.

I googled for you. See the link there? Well more googling won't hurt anything.
It really is a nice plant. I had it in full sun and it did well. Easy to grow from seeds. In the winter mine would turn black and I thought it was dead so I cut most of them down and in the spring it started coming back.

That is cool!! One time I watched a Hindi movie and there was one scene with a field of these. It was breathtaking and made me swell up with joy inside.
I read something online that says that is has antifungal properties but I wouldn't know how to go about using it for something in that way.
The scientific name for it is senna alata if you want to do your own research on it.
