Description
The listing, Lot of N64 accessories and gameboy game has ended.
Included is a memory card, a memory expansion pack, a transfer pack, which allows you to play gameboy games on the 64, and one gameboy game. Robocop 2 is the game. The game has been tested and does work but I no longer have a 64 to test the accessories so they are as is but it takes a lot to kill these old cartridge type games and accessories I have yet to find any that don't work.
Actually, the Transfer does not allow you to play Gameboy games via the N63 system itself. Pokemon Stadium (1 and 2) was one of the very, very select few games that utilized the Transfer Pak for such a purpose, but even then that purpose wasn't true. The feature of playing Gameboy games via the N64 console was done instead through the game itself, using a built-in emulator (being that the main draw-in for buying Pokemon Stadium was to import and export pokemon to and from whichever Gameboy game you had in the Transfer Pak and the Stadium game, to customize your team(s) and unlock certain features of the Stadium game(s).
True. Mario Gold and Mario Tennis were the two Mario games that utilized the Transfer Pak in such a way-- again, part of a very select few games that did.
The only real alternative I can think of that you may have had, which isn't in this auction, is the Gameboy Hunter emulator, made by a 3rd-Party manufacturer. Alternate to that, and mure unlikely, is the VRU, which was never released to the public and made extremely rare; if you own a VRU you're in possession of an extremely rare and valuable piece of technology.
I'm pretty sure this is all the N64 stuff I have. I don't know a lot about it so thanks for all the info. I just play basic games. This stuff my nephew no longer wanted or needed so I figured I'd list it rather then throw it out. Anything you can add to help bidders would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully though people know and understand what they are bidding on. I'd hate for anyone to be disappointed.
Aside from what I've said already, the only I have to add here is a correction to your "memory card". That "memory card" (the black one up top with the red lining) is actually a Jumper Pak. The Jumper Pak is vital to thenN64 console as it provides the compatibility power for the system to function. However, this Jumper Pak in specific is an Expansion Pak that allows games to both be played and be played in "HD" 64-Bit display, higher rendering and performance as opposed to the standard 32-Bit of the basic Jumper Pak which found several games (such as Star Wars: Episode 1: Racer, and Conkur's Bad Fur Day) lagging and being pushed to their basic limitations on the N64 console.
