Hi, thanks for complying with our rules. We realize it costs more to ship certain items, but we have instilled these max. amounts based on similar shipping costs (of similar items). Most jewelry doesn't ship for more than $3-$4 and yet we allow up to $6 for the reasons you've stated :) We find that many, if not most of our users tend to re-use packing materials, so the packing costs are minimal, and if you ship with the post office now, they are including FREE insurance on most packages (up to $50!), as long as free delivery confirmation and tracking!

Those are AWESOME leaves....and I totally get the shipping thing as I have times I cannot ship at all, due to funds...My group though and I do recycle and I also use brown paper bags from grocery store, that I make envelopes out of..I use the bubble pack envelopes that have been used as the interior packing and so forth. I offer free shipping since I do the trade off and usually can recover most costs with supplies...Becky is one of the best....always has good tips...Good Luck. I love this necklace,,,,just low on PayPal...

To whom it may concern....Note: I make no money on this if this is what you think. By the time I buy packaging, bubble wrap, drive to post office and lot's of things I buy to put on here, simply because it's fun but it is also costly....To be honest, I just can not afford to list on here as often that's all. I have seen up to 9.00 for a pair of cheap ugly ear rings on here, have even reported it to you guys,so I do not know why you pick on me like you do. Others are charging way over what I would ever do! This necklace is fragile and will take lot;s of bubble wrap, unlike others... who would shove a lovely piece like that in an envelope that comes apart and the piece will slip out, like a complaint I heard of a seller that did just that!! All my packages arrive in one piece, being a seller for many years on EBay, I wrap professionally, so I lowered this one dollar off and will not be able to insure it now. Good bye...

Oh and I did the same thing you did when I was new...always used priority til people got on me and showed me how to save...even though I knew I could do that..I liked the ease of priority, but boy did I save...Cindy good advice too....

Just a tip on "media Mail". I use Stamps.com to print my postage from home, and give to my postman when he comes by to save on gas going to the P. O. BUT, Stamps.com will not "track" a media mail package. I would have to go to the P.O. to do that.

Media mail is meant for books and paper products. It can also take 30 days.
