This auction is for 15 paper beads that I made from upcycled magazine pages. This is a sample of the beads that that winner will receive. There will be some large, medium and small. The beads will be closely matched so that you may use in a jewelry peice as in a pair of earrings, neckalce or bracelet. I will ship these is reused bubble envelope. Just seen this message! I found it downtown at the Unique Thrift Store. It was in a bag of jewelry I bought, I had seen it in it and thought I would buy it. It's not shiny like yours is...I'll have to take a pic of it and send it to you on my phone. They definitely did not know what they had to put it in that bag to sell it I guess.

You should so try to make some.....they are great fun and every bead turns out differently. Its exciting to roll the bead and to see then end result. I am still experimenting with different types of paper, like advertisements, envelopes, catalogs, etc......I love creating them ! Thanx for your bids and your interest. Sure you can choose a color you would like..... it will take a bit longer to get them though because I was going to send some from my stash. Just let me know in the email if you are the winner. I have over 500 magazines to choose from to make the beads.

These are beautiful. My mom made some of these a long time ago. They weren't shiny like these, but they are really pretty. I think she used special paper because they were all uniform in color. I absolutely love these!

Thanx and Kewl.....Not too many people have seen this type of bead yet, but they are becoming more popular in the US. I absolutely LOVE making them. Each bead turns out differently, making them very unique and original. I use magazine pages so that I can contribute to the GREEN effort. If you bid and win I can make what ever colors you need....believe me I have plenty of magazines ! Thanx for looking and commenting :0)

Just an FYI......the beads pictured here are just for demo purposes. I actually use them in my advertising. The beads you are bidding on will be hand rolled at end of auction unless you just want some random colors. I have gotten alot better at rolling them and can make rounder, smaller or elongated ones like pictured. The winner will decide what color, size and shape. So please bid bid bid because you wont be dissapointed. Each bead takes approx. 8 minutes from beginnning to end to complete. I guess I will have a couple hours work ahead of me just for my Lisita friends.....but you guys are worth it :0)
