Vidalia ....has a batter mix .showing blooming onion on package.
Several other name brands as well....
I also saw many "homemade" recipes when I did a search .....they seemed fairly easy and inexpensive ....they also had the directions for making the dip ....

GREAT QUESTION>>>> I want to think I saw the batter mix at Wal-Mart awhile back, not really sure .....I do know at the Drag Strips they fry Blooming Onions , sooo they are getting the batter mix from somewhere ...I'll try and do a search real quick on that...then again there could be a recipe for the batter in the box ....I will look inside the box for that and do a quick search on-line and see about the batter for you. ~) Lisa
