This auction is for an absolutly gorgeous nice sized 14K gold filled cross pendant. I found this at an estate sale. It is marked 1/20 14K the 4K are hard to see due to age but I took it into a jeweler and that is what they told me it is plus I looked at it under my jewelers loupe and I see the 1/20 14 marking. It also has a jewelers mark on it that looks like PAP. This is a nice peice here and measures about 1 1/2 inches long not including the bale. as you can see from pictures this is a high quality peice of 14K gold filled jewelery it really looks just like 14K gold. Gold filled means the jewelery is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass. Gold-filled items, even with daily wear, can last five to 30 years. Some high quality gold-filled pieces have the same appearance as 14 karat (58%) gold. In other words when you wear this 14K gold is what is touching your skin. Also I had a hard time getting a picture of the stamp it is so small but please know this peice is stamped as stated above.
