This auction has some very exciting finds for hardcore Law and Order fans!! Photos 1-2 show the whole lot!

Pics 3-9--->
This is the special "Crime Scenes" Special Edition DVD collection. 2-Disc set featuring 8 of the best original series' episodes that showcase the importance of location, forensics, investigative skills, and more. These are soo good I've watched them a lot so there is some wear and tear on the case and a few scratches on the disc, but are in good playable condition.

Somewhere along the lines, I was given these three discs of "For your consideration" Emmy nominated 2-episode DVDs for each of the Law and Order series. These have been watched a few times each and went through a lot of hands before getting to me. Condition ranges from great (discs) to good (cases) used condition. Please note that these do have messages that they are official Emmy consideration discs for the purpose of voting...they are past years so cool to have, but different than your typical DVD.

Watching the Emmy ones, you can imagine being one of the judges sitting there drinking wine (or whatever people in Hollywood drink) going through tons of tapes and then seeing this and thinking "Yes, give those people an award!".

So the "for your consideration" are behind the scene DVDs ?

Not "behind the scenes" DVDs, no. Law and Order has been nominated for tons of Emmys (a great award for prime-time television that divides into categories like acting, directing, and overall drama series). From my understanding when I got this from the "insider". when nominations happen, the people in charge of the show put together one of these DVDs of what they consider the "best" full-length episodes of the season and send it to the committee that makes the decisions on who wins Emmys. At the beginning of each disc, there is a part where there is a lot of "yay! L&O" stuff where they flash through the past awards, etc. Also, throughout the disc, it reminds you that this is "for your Emmy consideration only" because some of the episodes sent to committee for voting reasons were pre-TV-air-date (so not for public viewing or distribution at that time). Because these are all past seasons now, it is totally ok to personally own, but it is a cool addition to a DVD collection to have. Hope this answers your questions.
