Hi! Was it running fine & keeping good time before the battery died? I don't wear watches as much( I don't think many do~cell phones!) But I still have some I enjoy. This one I really like. Watching & Bidding:) Thanks!

The battery compartment is still covered in plastic, meaning the mechanism under the back that holds the battery is in the original state so that is the original battery. Yes, it worked fine. These fashion watches don't keep batteries as long, maybe the company just uses cheap ones. Everyone I have has to bee replaced every so often.

I looked and I don't know the manufacturer. It was purchased from Belk. Hope that helps.

I agree with you 100%, watches I purchased many years ago, rarely needed a new battery, about every 2 years or more! Now, I don't care what the Company, they seem to run down fast. And they are pretty easy to replace! Thanks! I am from the Washington, DC area,,no Belks? But I like the style of the band & watch. So, Thanks!!
