This listing is for a UNIQUE - Sterling Silver THIMBLE - Made in Turkey - TURKISH. This unique thimble measures 15/16" tall, 3/4" across the base, and weighs 7.3 grams. It is marked 925 on the inside. The top is designed to grab a needle and not slip when pushing it through the fabric. This was made by a skilled craftsman in Turkey. I used to import these directly from a close friend in Turkey, so I can absolutely guarranty the silver content and athenticity.

This is the only one in this style/pattern that I have. I will be offering one in a different style soon and that will be the last. I used to sell these on ebay years ago and I found a few while cleaning out a drawer. I had only 5, and this is the 4th one. Wish I had more!

Yes, some people tie a string/cord/chain to them and then around a finger or wrist so they don't have to set it down somewhere when they need it off their finger while sewing. I used to have some thimbles that had a chain attached to it and then to a ring. Thanks for asking!
