18 Postcards from The Boston Museum of Fine Arts , of a drawing by Antonio Canale ,known as Canaletto, Italian 1697-1768 The title is "Capriccio- House and Tower on a lagoon" . I gather a "Capriccio" is a fantasy place , that doesn't exist , but only in the mind of the artist who paints or draws it. These are lovely to write notes to your fellow Listians when you are shipping items!! But they could also be tied with a bow and given as a gift , or just used for general card writing! I'd use them myself but I've got an awful lot of cards already!! So I thought I would share these!

TY Darlene!! These aren't you're average "Hi from Sunny Florida!" postcard with a giant fish or "gator , on them ! Haha!! But a little bit of Italian art by a truly great draftsman!! Canaletto and Guardi being the top two painters and draftsmen of the spectacular Italian Landscape! A little more sophisticated than "run of the mill" A great gift for any aspiring young artist or collector!
