If you jailbreak your ps3, you will no longer be able to play online, if you try to, your account and system will be banned and bricked.

theoretically if the spoof works like they it will u wont get caught, but that is a use at your own risk deal. if you jail break your system you can play back up copy's of your games. the instruction would be nice if you have the hard ware needed to jailbreak your system

About 20 years ago BMG Music in association with Sony started adding a virus to music cd in an effort to stop people from copying music cd's. The end result was BMG and Sony were sued for damages and had to pay millions. So Based on this information I am Quite sure they do not want a repeat of that. Very bad publicity.
