Beautiful piece. I would love to know the history. Looks like a pocket religious article... maybe from a baptism??? I hope someone comments on here to tell you what it's for.

yes to all who said pocket shrine however, I bought my grandsons a Jesus, Blessed Mother and Joseph about 6 years ago from a on line shop. I just got them so they could carry or sit on a shelf and each boy has their own.
