A 90% Mercury Dime has 2.5 Grams of Silver

i believe a nickel is 5 grams......so this must be about the weight of a dime.

To follow up from above a 2.5 gram bar = the 90% silver portion of a dime, the whole dime (unless badly worn) is heavier because of the 10% copper it also contains.
