Nice, hope it does well so you can win my beads! I have a little suggestion ... take your photos on a white background, with a decent little desk lamp and no flash. You can move the lamp around to experiement with color and shadow, but this also allows you to get great detail in closeups on little things. If you have a macro setting on your camera, you can get great photos with a little practice ... and for a background just use a pillowcase or buy a cheap piece of white fabric scrap.

If you look at my photos, they look like they are done in a studio but it's just a piece of white fabric I bought ... needs to be a very tight weave (not a lot of texture in the fabric). I use one of those little 18-watt full-spectrum craft lamps, but any desk lamp will work, but buy one of those "natural daylight" color bulbs for it, you can get those in the supermarket.

You'll get there, just takes some practice but it's a good investment for the future. I'm spending WAY too much time on this, but it's fun so I don't mind. I just won a $400 60gb Ipod Video -- so that pays for all the shipping and shipping supplies I've bought for Listia. It gets better once you get rolling.
