Description

The listing, Graded Quarters and More .... has ended.

1854 quarter, should grade around VF-20 to EF-40.The two 1954 quarters are graded at MS-65. The book value for all 3 is roughly $122.00 +/- 20. Please check the ANACs website database for the two graded quarters.

I have never shipped out of the country. However I will, but any extra fees for doing so will be paid by the winner, should they not be within the USA.

Should the bidding go over 100k, I will throw in 4 shield nickels and 2 Jefferson war nickels.

Any questions, please ask.

Should someone take the GIN, I will include all the nickels, plus 2 more coins of my choice. I have some old foreign coins collecting dust, a few have the Swastika on them. Hope no one gets offended.

wow that a lot of credits you want there for 3 quarters.... and I dont mean to complain but an ms65 1954 washington quarter's are on ebay for $30 so Idk where your getting $122. This is a nice auction but way way way to overpriced for a GIN

The 1854 quarter books for about 60 dollars. The two 1954 book for 32 each. That would add up to 124. The actual price of the 1854 will vary because it hasn't been professionally graded. The GiN, would be compensated with the extra coins I offered.

I have a vague understanding of grading coins, I am no expert. When I look a coin over I usually low-ball it. Better to be low and be right, then grade it high and be wrong. I also disagree with the main stream view of grading companies as well. There are far too many dealers in 3 of the top 4. That to me is a conflict of interest. The only grading company that has no dealers is ANACs, or so it is said. There are a lot of other grading companies out there, and the report I read from a couple different coin forums wasn't favorable to them. In the end, the coins grade is what you feel it is, and the value of the coin is what someone is willing to pay for it. My father-in-law is a dealer, he has taught me a couple things. I am no expert, I grade and judge for myself. The coins I sell I leave up to the buyer to grade and judge.

It's from 1854...It shouldn't be sparkling! And I'm surprised at the bid right now, but they should definitely go for a lot more than this!

I hope so, the book value is 124.00 for the whole lot, roughly. Its a bit less on E-Bay, but not by a lot. I also offered bonuses. I was going to throw in another 2 coins if someone took the GiN. I was thinking of offering a 1936 German 5 Mark as one of the bonus coins. Even if I did, I doubt anyone would take the GiN.

A lot of people don't do GIN that high, usually they want things very cheap, but the price should sky rocket in the last hour or two without a doubt.

I was guesstimating the GiN at around the dollar value of the coins where every dollar was 1000 credits. The coins are worth somewhere around 120.00. I added a sizable bonus if they took the GiN. I didn't expect anyone to go with the GiN. I am not sure what shield nickels are going for and the Jefferson war nickels. The 1936 German 5 Mark is worth about 14 to 17.Its all good though, I will save those coins for a different auction.
