I don't see Liberty on any of the Barber Quarters. If you are referring to the 1854 quarter in the other auction. All the letters of Liberty are on the shield, there is a little build up around the i. I wouldn't even dare clean it. Though I have read there are a few brave dealers who do, and are good at it. I also can't see very well atm, I have had laser surgery in both my eyes, and they are full of floaters (blood). It comes and goes, an is a real pain in the behind! Ask anyone who has had diabetes for 30+ years who didn't manage it properly. I was lucky I didn't go blind

I tried to auction off a very high grade 1914 buy had no takers. I thought my price was reasonable considering the book value but I guess no one else felt the same.

I don't think I will do anymore high end coins. Stick with the low end. Feels like people want to invest in the silver value content of a coin, then its book value.

That's exactly how I feel I have an uncirculated 1941 and a gem bu 1946 Washington quarter that I bought to put on here but the last nice coin I started low ended up at a very low ending bid. I'm glad the guy got a good deal but I thought the coin wasn'tworth aa lot more. So I figured I would just keep the quarters for my own collection unless I find someone needing those years in good grades.

Yes, I think for those types I will stick with E-Bay.

I've never listed anything on ebay. I'm a collector not a seller so I guess I will hold on to them. Makes no matter to me maybe we will get some big spenders back around soon. I don't know what'sbeen going on lately.

I am into all of this as a hobby. The problem with that is, if I don't keep track of what I am doing, the hobby will become too expensive.
