Questions & Comments
I have listed too many large items to mention..... one (when I was pretty new to listia) was a n electric juicer....yes it WAS a large investment. The recipeiant was indignant when it took over a week for it to arrive. I shipped it parcel post, had the receipt...though I knew nothing about tracking at the time. I foolishly offered "FREE SHIPPING." I was out almost $30 and gleaned less than 500 credits for my trouble. However, I learned quite a bit through it. I learned that if I decided to offer something large, to list it at cost or offer local pick up. The lister receives less interest in their auction that way, but it's better than my previous experience. I learned how hesitant folks here are to bid on the auctions of newbies. Sorry, y'all, that's the world in which we live. Just be patient. And I suggest auctioning off smaller things or virtual (like gift card codes). I have auctioned quite a few. They usually ship for about $3 or $4. No big deal, so I ship them for free. And, year, when you deal with human beings, you can and will get stung a few times, but for me, over the last four or so years, it's been worth the honey. All the best on this one, shdwfrnch, with this auction and in the future.
im new to all this so.far I've been having trouble with winners not paying for shipping,I see others say that they keep the credits how do they do that?
unfortunately there's some people who wont pay for the shipping after they won,so im.letting them know I.follow.lista rules. and I wont return the credits.
