I did have my tailor shorten the strap for me, because I don't like the cross body look, I prefer the shoulder bags. It was done professionally, and looks as though it was supposed to come like that.

As I stated before, some authentic coach bags do not have a creed number in the bag. U can check online to verify. I do, although have the original paperwork and tags from the purchase. I will post pics if the paperwork. Also, the paperwork will be sent with the bag. Thanks so much
