It isn't sterling silver.... I believe it is pewter.... there aren't any markings on the necklace to indicate one way or the other...

I fell in love with this necklace when I saw it at our local fair.... I really liked it but I just do not wear necklaces very often and instead of it hanging around getting neglected I thought I would find it a new home where it could be admired by many as it was be worn by its new owner.... lol Thanks for fanning me and yes I didn't mind fanning you back!
