Idk if you saw but this was my.first time doing this and the starting bid was supposed to be 5000

I saw that. The thing is, the only way you will get that much now is if enough people bid to drive the price up to 5,000. They use proxy bidding here, which means that if someone bid 5,000, that is their cap. Listia will place bids for them, only as much as required to ensure they remain the highest bidder, until that cap is reached.
