IF bids go to 1000, I will do free shipping. Money is really, really tight!
I dont want it to collect it, though if it lasts I probably will keep it to hand it down. I want it to use it =) Oh and here is that web link to all the apre parts page like I said I would post: http://oldclassictoys.net/Classic-Toys/Spirograph
I hope this does well for you I know my highest bid so far is fairly high, but with 30 watching I am sure I will have to go higher!
My brother and I both had one. It kept me occupied many a summer. Saw someone sale just the plactic insert on EBay for $65 which was snatched up. These are hot collector's items.
Oh I live in eastern NC and I wouldnt worry about insurance or even DC if it is that much more. I already asked alot of you and you caved like any good seller ;)maybe it wouldnt be so much for my zip, cross fingers.
Well none of the other sets I foun dhad any of the original pens either they would probably not work even if they did have them =) I will look it up again though tommorow, it was pretty cool.
Just a note- HOT FLASHES-- Get some "Black Cohosh" Capsules (don't get Blue Cohosh-- that's different) and some "Evening Primrose Oil " caps.- take both daily as directed -- the hot flashes will go away in a few days. Continue to take them.
so no way to get free shipping if the bids get high enough? this set is awesome! I love drawing and so do my kids so we could use this together. Just curious I would bid well for it for sure.
I remember this!! I played with this all the time and sooooo want this one. I know that my 5 year old would love this just as much as I did!!!! GREAT auction!!!!!!!
My brother got the first one in our family (c. 1969) and the next year for Christmas my sister, then in '71 even though I was still messing with remnants of theirs, I got my own - now they just don't make them how they used to - which is a bummer for the newer generations. Good luck everyone!
i am confused? am i required to pay 25.00 for insurance/ or is it 8.00 total cost for this item plus my credits? i am new to this site. sorry if i sound dumb
No question is dumb! It is tough when you are new and things are spelled out real well. I put the $25 insurance on the package and the shipping fee is $8.00 plus what ever the winning bid is.
