hmmmmm....... this is a strange note to me. I wonder it's purpose. Do you know what year it was made ? I wonder if it was made when they opened up China to the world as sort of a tourist currency ??
this is the type of money i guess they give to tourists. I thought it was interesting too that's why i posted even though it is pretty worn out. i think this might be out of print now. this might be from 1979.
i wonder if it is still usable in china. what i do not like is that it is only acceptable at "designated places" . if it still can be used it is worth about $1.40 USD. exchange rate is currently aprox. 7 yuan = 1 USD
