The passion fruit vine has ornamental, scented white flowers with white and purple filaments and attractive lobed leaves. The pulp is eaten off the seeds. Kind of sweet and a little tart. The edible fruits may be brown or purple. One of the best known passiflora worldwide mainly because of its tasty fruit and it is one of the easiest to grow. Passion fruit is high in vitamins A and C. It can be juiced for passionate mixed drinks. May be trellised or used as a hanging plant
