My Aunt just lost her Bernese.. She was in training for special bomb finding... She had just passed a level they had a hard time with.. Taking a match and putting in in a large area, the size of a basketball court. The match was in between two bricks on a walkway (not visible.) But she only had up to a min. to find it. She was young but was feeling sick so we brought her to the vet. They said she had a growth (I forget what it was called...) It had been there for some time but had burst and she was in so much pain there was nothing they could do... Her name was Robin. She is a member of a big dog rescue. Her and my uncle divorced recently but they "split custody!" I'd like to try n get the points to get him one as well. Theu had no children but this was their 3rd Berner :(
