The listing, Vintage 1940's Black Leather Granada Purse Bag Handbag Pocketbook USA Purple Satin or Silk interior has ended.

Okay ladies here is a nice vintage Granada purse made in the USA.

It belonged to my lovely mother in law and she was 92.

I am guessing it is from the 1940's but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Measures approx 8 high 11 wide 4 deep.

Interior is purple satin or silk and has something spilled on it. It looks like food (chocolate? and a liquid that made a lighter small circle) in bottom corner. See pics
I didn't even realize this until I pulled the purse completely open for the pics. The way the lining tucks into the corner it is almost completely hidden.
I don't know how to clean this but you could have it professionally cleaned.

I think it is leather because it feels and looks like it, but again correct me if I'm wrong as I don't know anything about vintage purses.

Has a clasp and four pointed metal feet.

There are a few small marks at the very bottom of purse. See close up pic it shows them.
Stitching on handles is worn in several places. See close up pics.

The gold trim is a little worn.

Still a lovely purse with a great history and nice for someone who collects vintage purses.
