Yes it is because there is a higher bid already placed, but it only shows what the next highest nod would be. Fanned you back! ;)

I was told that is because someone put a higher bid out there than was needed, so that will only show what the next highest bid would be. if and when the auction reaches that limit, that's when your bid will show. hope this helps.

Yes someone has put in a higher bid like a "proxy" if you keep bidding once you reach their bid and have gone over even by one credit yours will be the high bid :)
