The listing, Beautiful Beaded Choker/Necklace has ended.

I don't know how old this is, but I bought it because of its Native American-esque design. However, I have a very skinny neck and it doesn't look quite right on me. I hope there is someone in the Listia Community who will treasure it as much as I hoped to. It would make a terrific Valentines Day gift of the Earth Mother on your list. Warning: Short term auction. It is curved, as in the picture, and does not lay flat, but it is about 16" around, so if you put a tape measure around your neck (and please be careful if you do this) you will be able to tell how it would hang.On me it hangs right at the base of my neck. I hope that helps.

Perhaps, but I do know that one beading place near me (Portland) has extenders. Thank you for your comment. I don't expect the bids to go too high, so it might be worth a gamble......as a gift, maybe?

You got me to measure my neck, i think thats the first time ive ever done that.
Haha ..just as i thought, I have a big neck measuring 15in. around.

I don't have a clue, really, but your comment conjured such an image at which I grinned widely. I just measured my neck and it was 14"..... You may have started a trend. Perhaps we could start a club (like Weight Watchers) where everyone has to measure their neck at the beginning of each meeting. We could even have neck measurement counselors, and brand our own neck cream (not to be taken orally, of course) and have a ridgid course of neck isometrics.
All I can say is, to really see if it fits, you'll have to stick your neck out.
