I'm not 100% sure but I think so. if ur wondering about turning ur skin green it doesn't at all. That's something I can say for sure. sorry I can't be of more help. it was a thanksgiving gift about 2 years ago. never had an issue with it fading or tarnishing. its never turned my skin green an I have sensitive skin so it definitely would've given me a reaction if it were some type of fake metal
