It doesn't look like it. http://www.universalhidef.com/digitalcopy/tokenentry.aspx Is where you put it and the FAQs mention its for Digital HD UltraViolet.

For anyone interested you can redeem on VuDu too. Just start out on VuDu Redeem, search for this movie and then enter code. Works for me ALL the time.

I suppose its a thing of trust. I don't use them, i usually keep them in the cases until they are to be used. We have no use for the digital copies, usually I just threw them out.
