Works perfectly. Has never been used (by me or anyone, it looks like). Purchased salvage so no instructions are included.
Takes 4 batteries for use cordlessly. 4 AA??
MAY NEED CLEANING UP BEFORE GIFTING.
Btw, this is NOT a toy. I've used one of these (i had/have several) as a backup to my larger, sturdier sewing machine while on a trip. I finished a rag quilt while out of town with one of these.
