Up for auction is a lot of (5) vintage postcards. They are of Chatham (2) and Hastings (3). All are unused. Published by Thorton Bros., New Brompton, Kent.


Hastings is a town and Borough on the coast of East Sussex in England. Cards are titled: The Pier, Hastings; The Beach, Hastings; and The Parade, Hastings. Under each scene is the Borough of Hastings Coat of Arms.


Chatham is one of the Medway towns located in North Kent, South East England. The two Chatham cards are titled: The Viaduct, Chatham and Town Hall, Chatham. Under each scene is their Coat of Arms which has the words "Loyal and True" in the banner underneath.


These cards are in very good condition, with just a few slight album impression marks. I believe they were acquired by a USA serviceman, during a tour in Great Britain.
