The listing, Interesting Paperweight : Australian fire Opals Bits Encased in Epoxy in a smooth Cone Shape has ended.

impressive and almost unbelievable that this many Opals have been just discarded and repurposed into this nifty paperweight.

i want to just run an auction as i am nearing 400 fans and this just might be the celebratory Auction to commemorate that :)

well i measured the diameter.. just over 3" .. . and it is 3.5" tall last .5" is clear epoxy... so i'd suggest a slightly less than 3" x 3" volume of opal chips... was hard to take the right picture that showed how nicely they sparkle in the sun!!
