1 TB portable hard drive brand new still sealed in package this will hold a whole lot of files, music, pictures or whatever you may wish it for. Back up your computers files, mine recently crashed on me my hard drive is shot in order to retrieve my info off of it I got to go pay extra money to do that this would of been a smart choice to of backed it up on here! Yes it is I am a full time college student I use one of these myself, this one is sealed and unopened still, to save all my school files on it. It has a USB cord that plugs into it and the computer so bring it with you wherever you want. Or use it at home also great to backup all your computer files as well.

My desktop is 1 TB so yes it does hold a lot. Really like this and need it.!!

You have a fairly large desktop then this could be useful I have a hard drive that just recently completely crashed! If I want to restore any of the files that were on it I have to bring it in and pay extra money to do that now. Would of been useful to of backed up my files on one of these that could of kept everything that to this moment I still have lost! :( Good luck to you I will send this out no cost as well shipping is on me here.

I believe? that you if you have your computer set up to back up files automatically you can possibly have it do that for you? However, I myself do it myself. It plugs in via the USB port and can remain connected or taken off, also the nice part of this is if for any reason you need to carry your files, pictures, music, etc. with you it is portable it is not that large and can be brought along and used on any computer system that operates on Windows 8, Windows , Windows Vista or Windows XP. So you can use it on your computer or any other ones that you may possibly use. As well as possibly download files from another computer that is not yours a great way to share music and pictures is this way.

This only requires USB for it to power on and doesn't require a power cord / adapter ?

I am using one my own self just the USB cord that comes with it and the harddrive is all you need so no power cord is needed good question though.

Cuz I have a external portable seagate go flex 500 gb hard drive.. I use it for pc repair related stuff, mainly the people I have fixed there computers I download the drivers for the computer / laptop or etc so if I ever have to fix it again I don't have to go find there drivers cuz I back them up on my external... Plus being portable and small I take it with me on computer related calls... Mine can fit in my pocket on my shorts it's a little bit bigger then my wallet... So size helps big times and storage size is nice :-) even though they have bigger ones now !!

Measured my own it is just barely over 3" x barely over 4 1/2" n 1/2" wide so very portable so then if this is one Terabyte I believe that is two times the storage space of your own then if not mistakened

Right I bought three I forgotten about them have one for my college files I need it to be able to bring it between home n school one I wanted for all of my music files n whatever else I got to start using it though n then I saw this one yet too still unopened felt it would be a great thing for on here! :)
