Yes it is around a 1 carat genuine but lab created actual emerald. The sapphire is a very large several carats genuine but lab created actual blue sapphire.

The necklace, bracelet, and opal ring came from my grandpa and his wife who collected antiques, I've never had them examined but they are very heavy and substantial in weight, so I could take a wild guess and say that they are gold plated silver but I cannot be certain. I see no markings at first glance and if they were silver just because they are not stamped 925 being antiques they very well could be silver underneath anyway. The opal ring appears to be a genuine natural opal but I can't say for certain. It appears to have Austrian crystals around it and looks to be a very old Avon ring, but I can't say for sure as I can't clearly see or read the markings inside the band. The emerald ring and the sapphire pendant are sterling silver and stamped 925 with an 18kt to 24kt gold overlay and came from HSN or QVC under the Technibond line that is suppose to mean the finish won't wear off easily but I can see some slight tarnishing to the finish On the emerald ring because of the sterling silver underneath. But I do have jewelry cleaner and tarnish remover so I can clean and polish it up. Thanks!

Wow there's some good interest in this auction! Again the possible genuine opal ring came from my grandmother who collected antiques it appears to look like an old avon ring and The emerald ring cost around $50.00 (not retail) about 10 years ago the pendant around $50.00 (again not retail as these were purchased from QVC or HSN under the sterling silver gold bonded line called Technibond. They are solid sterling silver with gold bonded to the silver. The reason why the cost was so high way back then was because of the gemstones they were expensive to manufacture in the laboratory as they still are today but even more so as the cost an expense of true lab created emeralds and blue sapphires continue to rise! They are actual real emerald and blue sapphire except that they were grown in a laboratory instead of mined from nature!

Well if the winner wants a brand new ring they may contact HSN directly and ask for a replacement! Although I can't guarantee that they can produce the exact same ring! They may or they offer something similar. But its not a big deal at all. Its only minor tarnish that you would see on sterling silver. I can try to take close up images of it if needed. Its a very heavy wide band or cigar ring and could be worn by man or woman size 10!!
