I love these shoes! They were always my go to pair of shoes. Alas, my little one has outgrown them and so I decided to pass them on to another good home! Even though I always tried to get her to wear them,she always ended up taking them off as babies will do. So, while there is a little wear on them it is hardly noticeable and they have many happy years left in them. They are soft soled so that allows babies feet to feel the floor below them and get a good grip or feel for the floors they are trying to navigate. They are great for begianing walkers. They have an elastic bad across the top to help keep them on babies feet and rubber grips on the bottom to keep baby from slipping on hard floors. I left out the best part though! Just wait till your little girl wears them out in the sunshine for the first time! Watch her face light up as her shoes sparkle and her feet cast rainbows on the sidewalk! Priceless!!!
