The listing, Tribute $50 proof Buffalo Gold coin has ended.

It's one of those commemorative gold coins you see advertised on TV. It contains 14 miligrams of gold which is probably less than what you would find at the bottom of a bottle of Goldschlager.

The coin does not come with an air tight holder or a blue box.

what do you mean?
Are we talking about the coin? Supposedly it's "24 karat", It's even advertised as such. But I'm not too knowledgeable on the subject. I do know that 10 karat is gold filled and 12 karat is gold plated and things start getting good at 14 karat. As for my coin, I'm not sure what karat it would actually fall in.
