Saberhagen won 2 Cy Young awards (1985 & 1989) with the Kansas City Royals, and finished 3rd in Cy Young voting in 1994 with the Mets. A 3-time All Star, Bret also won a World Series MVP award in 1985, the year the Royals won their first championship. Oft injured late in his career, Saberhagen still managed to win AL Comeback Player of the Year in 1998 with the Red Sox, and finished his career with 167 wins.
