It looks more like a slightly modified Sony dualshock 3 rather than some off-brand piece of poo. Though I could be wrong. Doesn't say Sony on the face above Start and select, the ps button days p3 instead of the classic ps symbol, and on the back says double shock, not dualshock.

This looks like a very nice PS3 remote controller

This is clearly a knock-off version, but It gets the job done. The only flaw is that the controller is not wireless. I have the same kind and use it as a back up controller.
