-1.33 GHz PowerPC G4 processor
-1.25 GB DDR SDRAM memory

WORKS VERY WELL
(when plugged in - needs replacement battery)
-powers on
-surfs web
-plays itunes
-this would be a great starter computer
-or a great gift for a kid who really wants a laptop, but isn't ready for the responsibility of an expensive new one

Comes with original power cord. Works well when plugged in, but the BATTERY DOES NOT HOLD A CHARGE.

If you need to use it away from an outlet, replacement batteries for this model can be found on ebay or amazon for pretty cheap.

Sorry to hear that. I guess I've been lucky to never have an issue. For now though, I am sticking to Paypal because Listia Support's advice was to use Paypal. But I will have to look into the other options.

Not sure exactly what you mean, but it is an older computer, so of course it is not as fast as a new model. But it doesn't seem any slower than when we got it.

I am sorry, but I am not sure. We are currently out of town for the holidays, so I can't check. I know that it used to have word, but we restored it to factory settings to clear off all of our photos and information, and I'm not sure if Word was part of that. I believe we still have the install disk that includes word. I will send all of the disks we have that go with this model along with the computer to the winner. Sorry I don't have more information right now.

what is it running on currently windows Vista, 7,8? how old is it? DVD/CD drive?

It's running Mac 0S X 10.3.7. I believe it was purchased new in mid-2005. And it has a DVD-ROM/CD-RW Combo Drive.

It does have wifi. And for most places in the country the flat rate ends up being cheaper. And even the short distances end up being a bit cheaper or the same when you factor in the cost of the box.

I was planning on using a flat rate box which is the same price no matter where you send it. I think it would cost more to send it any other way because of the weight. I will check.
