Questions & Comments
How do these plants tolerate cold? Will winter over in zone 7 or are they annuals that have to be replanted every year, like most tomatoes? I'd really like to have some, but I need them to be able to grow outdoors, as I have no real room to winter them in.
Everything I've read about these I these they are grown in Italy Hardness zone of 7-9. If taken care of these Tomatos will last for years, Frosts still can damage trees so if you are planting them outside you can tarp them when they are small... when they get bigger use a pool "noodle" we cut a slit in the side and put it around the trees here and it keeps the trees alive. Just make sure to water any plant or tree soon after the frost is over.
