Questions & Comments
I am Squirrling Away my pts for 2 of your auctions...You sure you want to give this away? Last chance - I have no buyer remorse (:~
generally I have at least 2 copies of listia going - oh well, typed that here and it wasn't intended to be here lol.....I am putting up some auctions for pts to be able to compete for your Morgan (:~
If I had enough pts to make a fair offer, I would make a fair offer! I have done more research - this coin is all but obsolete :(((( I have spent some pts but I am squirrelling away pts...It is my intention to win this auction! 13 more days left!..mmmmm I hope no one makes an offer you cannot refuse!
The meat of it "there were only 4,900,000 minted of this Coin, most others were over 12,000,000 so that is where the rarity comes in not to mention how many have been melted for the silver in the past few years :((((
It's only rare in high grade coins. It's very common in circulated condition. It's still nice just like the others. And it's a Morgan so it's very collectable.
Actually, I will disagree with you, although I do not claim to be an Expert on Coins, there were only 4,900 000 minted of this Coin, most others were over 12,000 000, so that is where the rarity comes in.
By the time this auction is over - I will have the pts to win either this coin and I am also going to compete for another Morgan and I am bound to win one for the first time I started watching Morgans!
Phew - it made it there finally - it was stuck in the same sorting facility for days, traveled from one end of the US to the other in 2 days, then sat in a sorting facility for 3 days errr lol.....
I was just stating that it's very rare in high grades. I understand now you were talking about mintage figures and you are definitely right there. These coins are still easily found in circulated condition is all I meant.
