Up for auction my Awesome Listia Friends is this Used SEGA GAME GEAR SYSTEM WITH 8 GAMES. Sega Game system IS NOT IN WORKING/PLAYING CONDITION. It turns on but problem viewing the game screen.I tried adjusting the Bright button on the right side of system (as shown on pics #5 & 6 ) but no improvement.So i'm auctioning off AS IS...Again this system is (AS IS) Not working condition.Screen has some scratches and some ware on the exterior of system. Included with the system are 8 games.

it turns on but cant seem to get the screen to work. I make it brighter, dim it and dont show the game play.

It's most likely a capacitor problem. It's cheap to fix (only need to buy some capacitors) but you'll need to have some soldering experience to do it right. This is a good deal, but if someone's gonna fix it they should make sure to have a buddy with electronics experience to help out. Good luck!
