I bought these new and they have been in my bureau drawer for years, batteries have since gone dead, can be replaced. They are from The Disney Store in 2001. Still have tags, wind-up works perfectly and they walk all over if allowed to. Minnie is a bit taller than Mickey but then she is wearing heels. Absolutely new with dead batteries. I do not want to take it apart but my guess would be watch batteries. They are $1.99 at my jewelers and they install.
