This auction is for the pictured Power Bank portable energy/battery. It powers any electronic device that has a USB port to plug in. For example, iPad, iPhone, iPod, smartphone, vapor cigarettes, etc etc. The device just has to have a USB at one end (which usually then goes into an adapter for AC into a wall, but here just goes straight into the unit.) I already have one and use it all the time, especially when I am out and about and my phone starts to die with no outlet to plug it into. It is a great item to keep in the car/purse/backpack/etc just in case. There is a crack in the plastic box that it comes in, but otherwise is brand new, and the box is usually something you throw out anyway. My guess is that it will go for the GIN, probably later on in the auction when it has 50+ watchers and someone realizes the bidding is going to go past the GIN... it charges anything you plug into it. The thing you plug into it has to have a USB at the end you would normally stick into the wall. It can charge phones, iProducts, pretty much anything electronic. Nowadays, most things have a USB at the end, even if there is an adapter that then goes into a normal AC plug for the wall outlet. So it is a battery. A big battery.

Unless you want to charge the unit itself, yes. When you use up the battery you re-charge it and you can use it again.
