This stunning necklace features three genuine Arizona turquoise nuggets, the largest of which is nearly 3/4" long. Dark chocolate beads accent the piece, along with metal spacers. It has a barrel style closure and is approximately 17" in circumference.

My late mother used to frequent trading posts and flea markets back in the 60s and 70s in northern Arizona, in her hunt for Native American treasures, jewelry and curiosities. (She actually started in the late 40s in Northern Arizona, but I don't think this piece is earlier than 60s or 70s. Can't say for sure, though.)

I'm continuing to clean out boxes from my garage, whenever I get the energy, and finding some lovely things of hers. I'm not sure exactly where she picked this one up but it was nice enough to keep throughout the decades since.
