Can this work on a printer ?

I think it will only receive a wireless signal from a router & the wireless printer would have to be run thru the wireless router. This device attaches to a USB port.

Ok I have a desk top with dsl also have a wifi router I use for phones, lap top, and tablet. How would this work on my desk top? Would I have to use dsl with this?
Don't know much about things could please help me understand. Thanks, F&W

you would plug this device into a USB port on desk top and then it could pick up the wireless signal, there is a disc that comes with it that programs the computer to do this.

Thank you so much. Then could I get rid of my DSL or would or would I need it for My wifi router. I am kinda illiterate when it comes to computer devices.

I'm not sure but I think you could because your computer would then receive internet through the wireless router. But now some wireless routers also need a regular phone modem also, for instance if you buy a wireless router from say Walmart then you hook it to your internet modem & that broadcast the internet signal throughout your home, now if you got the wireless router from the cable company it probably doesn't have a seperate modem.

I hope it all works out, I used this device on a laptop that didn't have its own ability to pick up a wireless signal.
