It has the back, sound works great, and nope the games don't crash at all.

Can you please post a picture of it turned on loading a game? I will bid a higher price if you can post a pic to show it works, and because you are a new seller and not listia verified.... to verify you actually have the item and it is legit... post a picture of the gameboy next to a piece of paper with your listia user name on it.
