Description
The listing, 2- Corkscrew Willow or Curly Willow (Salix matsudana) cuttings has ended.
You are bidding on two 6 – 8 inch unrooted cuttings for Corkscrew willow ‘Golden Curls’. Branches are reddish during the winter months, bright yellow in spring, turning greenish during the summer months. The cuttings are very easy to root and will root indoors in a container of water in about 2 weeks. Once rooted, cuttings can be planted directly in the garden if weather is favorable, or planted in a container and transplanted outdoors after all danger of freezing weather is past. Additional propagation instructions and methods can easily be found online.
Corkscrew willow is an extremely ornamental landscape plant and the contorted branches are frequently cut for floral arrangements and indoor displays. This is a great, easy to grow plant.
