Dont have the black edition, but the phenom II x4 is what Im running at 3.2 w/o overclocking and its amazing. Runs most things smoothly depending on your other components. Good processor and 20k is well worth it, they are over 100 bucks last time I checked, and I paid around 80 for mine.

Agreed... Bought it with the intentions of an AMD build but eventually I caved and fell in with the i7 fanboys and this has been sitting ever since

Was running it till i went with the i7... Will accept paypal (safer and easier) and being that you arent far from me shipping will be like $3 with insurance and tracking number and more than likely next day delivery

My computer nerd fiance found this. He just got a new motherboard and needs a processor. He was looking at the i7's but found out that i5 worked better for gaming. He said something about hyperthreading messing with the best potential of running mmorpg games. Its all g(r)eek to me. LOL. Going to try to win this for him. F&W =)

Never. I don't feel comfortable doing it and I feel it takes the longevity of life away from the processor. Even my i7 is sitting at stock cores and I know people love going nuts with them. I have no need to haha
