Most of these were just gold Plated. You have to dissolve the metal in acid to get the gold and what you end up with really isn't worth the time unless you have a 5 gallon bucket full of them. Then you might get a half ounce of gold.

My dad does that, takes out all the gold out of old computer parts. He has got like a 5 lb bag of gold so.
